The UMC Innovation BLR‑4000 Barb Lokk Machine is a dedicated high‑tensile reverse twist barbed wire machine engineered for consistent, high‑speed production. Its mechanics and automation work seamlessly together to deliver significant productivity gains.

The compact, efficient design maximises output while optimising factory floor space, making the BLR‑4000 well suited to high‑volume manufacturing environments.

Machine Function & Design

  • High Speed

    The mechanics and automation are designed with the highest speed possible in complete harmony allowing for significant production increases of 400 barbs per minute.

  • Seamless Production Change

    The twist rate between barbs can be easily adjusted using the HMI. Optional automatic pitch change allows for variable barb spacings without the need to reconfigure mechanical parts.

  • Compact Design

    The BLR-4000 is designed to be minimise the use of factory floor space to optimise available area. Forklift pockets are integrated into the machine to allow for easy manoeuvrability.

  • Vertical Manufacturing

    Rolls are manufactured vertically. Integrated layering with minimal footprint for increased ergonomics for roll handling.

  • Production Metrics

    Reporting module provides operational status including faults, runtime, and production data. Mobile device compatibility supported for remote monitoring.

  • Variable Barb Length

    Each barb point can be individually adjusted to ASTM 121

  • Two Point & Four Point Barb

    Both two and four-point barbs can be manufactured on the same machine for greater flexibility.
